Lost Souls Attractions / Theater & Hospital of Lost Souls
This Halloween season you could experience the tensest, thrilling and frightening event of your life! Join us at The Theatre of the Lost Souls on State St. in Shelley… a REAL haunted attraction in a decades-old theatre, with a terrifying history! This haunted attraction is not recommended for children under 10! We do not give refunds so don’t waste your money…Leave the little ones at home! We do not allow children or babies under 4 under any circumstance. It is important to note there will be limited vision, tunnels, and steep stairs so expect some crawling and climbing. Tennis shoes are recommended!
The Hospital of Lost Souls on State Street in Shelley, directly next door to the Theatre. Anyone who’s ever lived in the town of Shelley knows there’s an old building on State Street with the words “Hospital” still visible at the top. The building was built in 1903 and has played several roles in the community such as restaurant, club, and room and board, but perhaps the greatest mystery is when it was a hospital from 1909 to 1926. Few people around today can remember any patient stories from the old hospital, but It still shows many signs of once being one. It has the old dumbwaiter, an old, creaky hospital ward with a hallway full of rooms and floral wallpaper. The musty, dark basement was heated by a coal furnace with very little light to guide the workers. And perhaps the eeriest of all is the old surgical room upstairs with its sink still standing.

You’ll never see them by day. You’ll never hear them, or find any trace of their existence–as long as the sun is shining. A warm, lazy day on the river is about as close to “perfect” as life can get. But on this particular stretch of the Dry Bed, you’d better make sure you’re well clear of the water before the sun dips below the tree line and the chill of Autumn creeps in… What happened across the river? Come find out for yourself!
